Monterey’s Hosted Private Five Course Dinner and Tequila Tasting
The Humble Monterey’s Little Mexico Restaurant hosted a very special dinner and tequila tasting event on Thursday, August 28, 2008 and it turned out to be a huge success and a sold-out event!
Guests were served a five course dinner that included several appetizers, salad, soup, choice of dinner entrée and two different desserts. In between the courses, guests sampled seven different premium hand-made tequilas. The last tequila the guests sampled with dessert cost nearly $300 per bottle.
“Victor Elias, our Tequila Ambassador, did a fantastic job of teaching our guests about the history of tequila, how it is made and describing the characteristics of the tequila that our guests sampled throughout the evening,” said Ruben Cortez, Director of Operations for Monterey’s Little Mexico. “This was a unique opportunity for us to host a very special dinner event for our customers and we were so happy with the overall enthusiasm from our guests throughout the dinner and tasting,” said Mr. Cortez.
Since this event was such a great success, the Humble Monterey’s Little Mexico restaurant hopes to host another dinner event like this one in the near future.
